In an unsurprising but still unbelievably antiquated move, President Biden’s Department of Veteran’s Affairs has once again said no way, José, to veterans seeking solutions to their troubles by passing on a plant that provides an unbelievable amount of benefits to users/consumers.

US Rep. Lou Correa out of California is the House sponsor.

The bill, which cleared the full House Veterans’ Affairs Committee in 2020 and 2018, would mandate that VA launch a series of clinical trials on using medical marijuana to treat PTSD and chronic pain.

But nah. Not on his watch and everyone is noticing.

Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Corey Booker (D-NJ) sent a letter to US Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice demanding cannabis decriminalization, and why wouldn’t they? Decriminalized states are flush with revenue from the cannabis industry and its patients’ and participants’ purchases. Nevada recently made news with its $1 Billion in cannabis sales last year.
