Cannabis Dispensary Report Cards – March 2021

Patients seeking legal medical cannabis in Utah must visit one of the eight dispensaries open in the state. How close a dispensary is to the patient, how friendly and knowledgeable each dispensary is, what products they offer, the price of those products and what other conveniences they have arranged for these customers is inconsistent from one dispensary to another.

The Utah Bee is producing report cards each month for each dispensary. The March report card is about pricing of products at each dispensary.

Above you will find the overall report card. If you click on these links, it will take you to individual report cards that break down each dispensary’s particular grade: Beehive FarmacyCuraleaf, Deseret WellnessDragonfly, Perfect Earth – LoganPerfect Earth – Ogden, and Wholesome. Note: last month Deseret Wellness opened a new Park City location. No information was available for this new location, so they do not have a report card this month. In April, this dispensary will be graded along with every other dispensary.

For the March report cards, we have taken a look at the average price of different types of products at the dispensaries. We wanted to show patients the kind of price variance they can expect between different dispensaries. Under the current law, the dispensaries have to stay within a certain price range of each other. We are pleased to report that all dispensaries appear to be following this part of the law, and that patients can expect to find similar prices on any given product, regardless of where they shop.

The Utah Bee understands that these dispensaries are restricted by the medical cannabis law of the state. But it is clear that some dispensaries are working harder to offer more varieties to their customers while others are not making this priority.
